Pune real estate market reports 52% jump of property registrations in March

Pune real estate market saw a 52 percent year-on-year (YoY) jump in property registrations in March 2024 with 21,744 properties being filed as against 14,309 a year back, according to the Maharashtra government’s Department of Registrations and Stamps – the Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamp (IGR).

The stamp duty collections in March 2024 also recorded substantial growth to Rs 804 crore from Rs 621 crore in March 2023.

In FY24, some 146,924 properties were registered in Pune and the stamp duty collection stood at Rs 5,785 crore, according to Knight Frank India, a real estate consultancy firm.READ MORE
